Description

Delicious and nutritious protein balls bursting with the flavor of fresh strawberries, creamy almond butter, and a hint of cinnamon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh strawberries
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Begin by placing rolled oats, vanilla protein powder, almond butter, chopped strawberries, honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Mix these ingredients together thoroughly with a rubber spatula until evenly combined.
  3. If the mixture feels too dry, add a splash of water or almond milk until it’s sticky enough to roll.
  4. Roll the mixture into small balls, approximately 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Place the rolled balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  7. Enjoy these protein-packed bites as a healthy snack or post-workout treat!

Notes

Make ahead by preparing a batch and storing in the fridge for quick snacks during the week. These can also be baked for a firmer texture.
