Description

Delicious salmon balls paired with a creamy avocado sauce, perfect for appetizers or family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb fresh salmon, cooked and flaked
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 avocado
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, green onions, mayonnaise, beaten egg, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball, and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. Prepare the avocado sauce by blending the avocado, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  6. Serve the salmon balls warm with the avocado sauce drizzled on top, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

You can prepare the salmon mixture a day in advance and refrigerate it for better flavor. Consider using an air fryer for a healthier cooking option.
