Description

A simple yet flavorful no-knead bread infused with rosemary and garlic, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp instant or active dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • Fresh rosemary (optional)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, salt, and yeast in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add warm water and stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rest for 12 to 18 hours.
  4. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and shape it into a ball.
  5. Place the dough on floured parchment paper, cover with a kitchen towel, and let rise for another hour.
  6. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) with a Dutch oven inside.
  7. Carefully remove the hot Dutch oven and place the dough inside using the parchment.
  8. Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
  9. Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Cool on a wire rack before slicing.

Notes

Allow the dough to rise overnight for best flavor. Can be stored at room temperature for up to 3 days or frozen for 3 months.
