Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast: In a mixing bowl, combine warm water and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together flour and salt.
  3. Combine mixtures: Gradually add the flour mixture to the yeast mixture, stirring with a wooden spoon. Drizzle in olive oil to create a smooth dough.
  4. Knead the dough: On a floured surface, knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Incorporate the flavors: Sprinkle in the shredded cheese, garlic powder, and herbs while kneading.
