- 8 Corn Tortillas
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 can Refried Beans
- 1 cup Taco Sauce
- 2 cups Cheese (cheddar and Monterey Jack mix)
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Chili Powder
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 2 Garlic cloves, minced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cooking until browned. Stir in cumin and chili powder.
- Layer the ingredients in a baking dish, starting with taco sauce, followed by tortillas, beef, refried beans, and cheese. Repeat layers, ending with cheese.
- Bake covered with aluminum foil for 30 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
Customize with different cheeses, add sautéed peppers for extra flavor, or use turkey for a lighter option.
