- 1 package frozen pierogis (potato or cheese filled)
- 1 pound kielbasa (smoky sausage)
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 cup sour cream (optional, for serving)
- 1/4 cup green onions (chopped)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Layer the frozen pierogis evenly in a large baking dish.
- Slice and distribute the kielbasa atop the pierogis.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the mixture.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes.
- Serve warm with sour cream and green onions.
Notes
You can prepare the dish a day ahead and bake it when ready. Customization with vegetables or alternative proteins is welcome.
