Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Combine dry ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt until fully incorporated.
- Cut in the cold butter: Use a pastry cutter or fork to blend the butter into the flour until it forms a coarse crumb.
- Mix in ham and cheese: Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and diced ham until well-distributed.
- Add the milk: Gradually stir in the milk with a wooden spoon until the dough comes together.
- Knead gently: Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently for about 30 seconds.
