Description
Delightful homemade potstickers filled with savory ground chicken, aromatic ginger, and crunchy vegetables, perfectly crisped and full of flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 package potsticker wrappers
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Mix the filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, minced garlic, minced ginger, chopped green onions, shredded cabbage, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Stir well until fully combined.
- Prepare the wrappers: Take a potsticker wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the filling in the center.
- Seal the deal: Wet the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it in half to create a semi-circle, and pinch to seal.
- Fry with care: Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Lay the potstickers into the pan and cook until bottoms are golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Steam for perfection: Add a splash of water to the pan and quickly cover it with a lid. Let cook for about 5-7 minutes.
- Serve and savor: Once cooked, serve your potstickers hot with dipping sauce.
Notes
