Description
A 15-minute miracle dinner featuring tender steak bites bathed in garlic butter, served alongside vibrant zucchini.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or New York strip), cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 medium zucchini, cut into half-moons
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Pat the steak bites dry with paper towels. Generously season them with salt and pepper for a flavor boost.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the steak bites to the hot skillet in a single layer. Sear for 1-2 minutes per side until browned, creating a lovely crust.
- Remove the steak from the skillet and let them rest while you prepare the vegetables.
- In the same skillet, add butter. Once melted, introduce the minced garlic, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the zucchini to the skillet and sauté for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender-crisp yet vibrant.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet, tossing everything together for a sumptuous coat of garlic butter.
- Cook another 1-2 minutes until the steak is nicely heated throughout.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve immediately while still sizzling.
Notes
For maximum flavor, consider marinating the steak bites before cooking. Experiment with different herbs and spices to customize the dish.
