A divine blend of golden garlic butter chicken paired with creamy Parmesan linguine for a comforting Italian meal.
Ingredients

- 1 lb chicken breasts or thighs
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 8 oz linguine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Season both sides of the chicken with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Lower the heat and add butter to the skillet. Stir in the garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the garlic butter over it, then let it rest.
- Bring salted water to a boil in a large pot. Add linguine and cook until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
- Gently heat the heavy cream and Parmesan in a separate saucepan over low heat until melted and thickened.
- Toss the drained linguine with the creamy sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
- Slice the chicken and place it over the pasta. Drizzle with remaining garlic butter and garnish with parsley.
Notes
For added flavor, you can customize with sun-dried tomatoes or spinach. Keep an eye on the chicken to avoid overcooking.
