Description

A divine blend of golden garlic butter chicken paired with creamy Parmesan linguine for a comforting Italian meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 oz linguine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the chicken with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Lower the heat and add butter to the skillet. Stir in the garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the garlic butter over it, then let it rest.
  5. Bring salted water to a boil in a large pot. Add linguine and cook until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  6. Gently heat the heavy cream and Parmesan in a separate saucepan over low heat until melted and thickened.
  7. Toss the drained linguine with the creamy sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
  8. Slice the chicken and place it over the pasta. Drizzle with remaining garlic butter and garnish with parsley.

Notes

For added flavor, you can customize with sun-dried tomatoes or spinach. Keep an eye on the chicken to avoid overcooking.
