Description

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Dry Egg Noodles (or fresh lo mein noodles)
  • 2 Carrots, sliced
  • 1/4 Yellow Onion, sliced
  • 3 cups Cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 3 Garlic Cloves, diced
  • 1 bunch Green Onion (green parts only)
  • 2 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Water
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tbsp Corn Starch
  • 1/4 tsp White Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat a large pan or wok over medium heat and add oil. Sauté sliced carrots, onions, and cabbage for about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add diced garlic for the last minute to infuse flavors.
  4. Combine all sauce ingredients in a small bowl and whisk until blended.
  5. Add cooked noodles and green onions to the pan, then pour sauce over the top.
  6. Toss everything together gently and heat through for about 2 minutes.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with extra green onion or sesame seeds if desired.
