Instructions

  1. Cream the butter in a mixing bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add the powdered sugar gradually while mixing on low speed until just combined.
  3. Introduce the apple butter, vanilla extract, and cinnamon (if using), blending on medium-high speed for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Adjust the consistency with milk or heavy cream, one tablespoon at a time, until perfect for spreading or piping.

  6. Taste the icing and adjust flavors with more cinnamon or salt if desired.
