Ingredients

  • 12 oz flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. Toss the beef with cornstarch in a mixing bowl until evenly coated.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Fry the beef in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side, and drain on paper towels.
  5. Sauté minced ginger and garlic in the same pan for 30 seconds.
  6. Stir-fry the broccoli florets for 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  7. Mix the crispy beef back into the pan, add the noodles, and pour in the soy and oyster sauces. Toss everything together for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Finish with a drizzle of sesame oil and green onions. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
