Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 10–12 small corn or flour tortillas
- Oil for frying or cooking spray for baking
Instructions
- Combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a mixing bowl until well mixed.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking, or heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat if frying.
- Place about two tablespoons of filling in the center of each tortilla and roll tightly, tucking in the sides.
- Lay seam-side down on a baking sheet.
- For baking, spray with cooking spray and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden. For frying, gently place taquitos in hot oil and fry for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Serve hot with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream.

Make-ahead option: Assemble and freeze unbaked taquitos. Cook from frozen for a quick meal.
