Ingredients
Scale
- 1 Onion, diced
- 1 Bell pepper, sliced
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 lb Chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 2 tsp Ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes (optional)

- Heat the oil: In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken pieces. Let them sear without moving them for about 5-7 minutes.
- Brown the chicken: Once browned, remove the chicken from the pan and place it on a plate.
- Sauté the aromatics: In the same skillet, add the diced onion, sliced bell pepper, and minced garlic. Stir frequently for about 3-4 minutes, until tender.
- Add chicken back: Return the chicken to the skillet and pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, ground black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes. Stir to coat.
- Let it simmer: Reduce the heat to medium and let it simmer for 5 minutes to meld the flavors.
- Serve and enjoy: Serve hot over rice or with steamed veggies.
