Instructions

- Slice the onions into thick rings, roughly ½-inch thick.
- Beat the egg in a bowl, adding a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Dip each onion ring into the egg mixture to coat.
- Transfer to the bowl of shredded Parmesan cheese and coat thoroughly.
- Place the coated onion rings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spray lightly with olive oil or cooking spray.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
