Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 10 small corn tortillas
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray or oil for baking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Brown the ground beef and diced onion in a skillet over medium heat until cooked through.
- Stir in garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Lay a tortilla on a clean surface, spoon in beef mixture and sprinkle with cheese, then roll tightly.
- Place seam-side down on a baking sheet, spray lightly with cooking spray or oil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- Serve hot with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream.
Notes
You can prepare the filling a day in advance or assemble taquitos and refrigerate them, baking when ready.
