Description

Delicious baked beef taquitos filled with seasoned ground beef and melted cheese, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 10 small corn tortillas
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or oil for baking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef and diced onion in a skillet over medium heat until cooked through.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Lay a tortilla on a clean surface, spoon in beef mixture and sprinkle with cheese, then roll tightly.
  5. Place seam-side down on a baking sheet, spray lightly with cooking spray or oil.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  7. Serve hot with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream.
