- 1 tablespoon chipotle chili powder or chipotle seasoning
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder

- Juice of 1 lime
- 8 tostada shells
- 2 ripe avocados (sliced)
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- ½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 small garlic clove (minced)
- A pinch of salt
- Optional toppings: diced tomatoes, pickled red onions, crumbled queso fresco, extra cilantro
Instructions
- Combine shrimp, olive oil, chipotle seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and lime juice in a mixing bowl. Toss until coated.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and slightly charred.
- Prepare the cilantro lime crema in a small bowl by whisking together sour cream, cilantro, lime juice, minced garlic, and salt.
- Assemble the tostadas by layering shredded lettuce on each tostada shell.
- Arrange sliced avocado on top of the lettuce.
- Add the cooked chipotle shrimp generously over the avocado.
- Drizzle the cilantro lime crema over the top and add optional toppings if desired.
- Serve immediately while the tostadas are still crisp.
