- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 6–8 fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice a pocket into each chicken breast using your sharp knife.
- Stuff each pocket with the asparagus and cheese.
- Season the outside of the chicken with salt and pepper.
- Place the chicken in a baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Make ahead by stuffing the chicken breasts a few hours prior to baking. For a crispy finish, consider using an air fryer instead of an oven.
