- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup brewed espresso, cooled
- 1/2 cup coffee liqueur
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 package ladyfinger cookies
- Cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and mascarpone cheese until smooth.
- Add the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract, and continue to beat until fluffy.
- In a shallow dish, combine the brewed espresso and coffee liqueur.
- Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the espresso mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
- Layer half of the soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a serving dish.
- Spread half of the cheesecake mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers and cheesecake mixture.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
Notes
- For a non-alcoholic version, omit the coffee liqueur.
- Make sure the espresso is cooled before dipping the ladyfingers.
- This dessert can be made a day in advance for better flavor.
