  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup brewed espresso, cooled
  • 1/2 cup coffee liqueur
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 package ladyfinger cookies
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and mascarpone cheese until smooth.
  2. Add the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract, and continue to beat until fluffy.
  3. In a shallow dish, combine the brewed espresso and coffee liqueur.
  4. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the espresso mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
  5. Layer half of the soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a serving dish.
  6. Spread half of the cheesecake mixture over the ladyfingers.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers and cheesecake mixture.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit the coffee liqueur.
  • Make sure the espresso is cooled before dipping the ladyfingers.
