- 1 lb cod fillets
- 1 cup rice
- 2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Cook the rice according to package instructions.
- In a bowl, mix chili garlic sauce, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Cut the cod fillets into strips and marinate them in the sauce for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry the marinated cod strips until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Serve the cod strips over rice and drizzle with any remaining chili garlic sauce.
Notes
- Adjust the level of spiciness by adding more or less chili garlic sauce.
- For a gluten-free option, use tamari instead of soy sauce.
- Serve with steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
