- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 pound sausage, crumbled
- 1 cup bread cubes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon sage
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned.
- Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened.
- In a large bowl, combine the sweet potatoes, bread cubes, cooked sausage mixture, chicken broth, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the sweet potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
