Description

A delicious fusion of honey sweetness and spicy gochujang, this Sticky Honey Gochujang Chicken is a flavorful and versatile dish perfect for weeknight dinners or entertaining.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken thighs or breasts
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix together gochujang, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger in a medium bowl.
  2. Marinate the chicken in the glaze for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) or oven to the same temperature.
  4. Place the marinated chicken into the air fryer basket or onto a prepared baking sheet.
  5. Cook in the air fryer for 20-25 minutes or in the oven for 25-30 minutes until cooked through and crispy.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

For optimal flavor, marinate the chicken overnight if possible. You can substitute chicken breasts for thighs, but be careful not to overcook them.
