- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 head of garlic, roasted
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wrap the head of garlic in aluminum foil and roast in the oven for 30-35 minutes until soft.
- Allow the garlic to cool, then squeeze the cloves out of their skins into a mixing bowl.
- Add the softened butter, parsley, chives, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
- Mix until well combined and smooth.
- Transfer the mixture to a piece of parchment paper and roll it into a log shape.
- Refrigerate until firm, about 1-2 hours.
- Slice and serve on grilled meats, vegetables, or bread.
Notes
- Store any leftover butter in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
- This butter can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
