Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 lb taco meat, cooked and seasoned
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Optional toppings: chopped green onions, cilantro, diced jalapeños, avocado slices

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and salsa until smooth.
  2. Lay a tortilla flat on a cutting board and spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture.
  3. Sprinkle seasoned taco meat evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Add a layer of shredded cheese over the taco meat.
  5. Carefully roll the tortilla away from you into a tight roll.
  6. Slice the rolled tortilla into bite-sized pinwheels, approximately 1-1.5 inches wide.
  7. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
