Ingredients

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into meatballs.
  3. In a skillet, brown the meatballs on all sides over medium heat.
  4. In a baking dish, spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom.
  5. Place the browned meatballs on top of the sauce.
  6. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the meatballs.
  7. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
