- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 2 large eggs

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs and maple syrup, mixing until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before glazing.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar and milk until smooth, then drizzle over the cooled bars.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For a richer flavor, use dark maple syrup.
- These bars can be frozen for up to 2 months.
