Loaded Cheese Fries are a delicious and indulgent snack made with crispy fries topped with melted cheese, bacon, and various toppings.
Ingredients

- 4 large russet potatoes
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat the oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Wash and cut the potatoes into fries.
- Fry the potatoes in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove fries and drain on paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
- Layer the fries on a baking sheet and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and top with sour cream and chopped green onions.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- For a spicier version, add jalapeños on top.
- Use a mix of cheeses for added flavor.
