A delicious twist on the classic baked potato, topped with savory steak bites and a variety of toppings.
Ingredients

- 4 large russet potatoes
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup cooked bacon bits (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash and scrub the potatoes, then poke holes in them with a fork.
- Rub the potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
- Bake the potatoes for 45-60 minutes, or until tender.
- While the potatoes are baking, heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak bites to the skillet, season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked to your liking.
- Once the potatoes are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- Cut a slit in the top of each potato and fluff the insides with a fork.
- Top each potato with steak bites, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, green onions, and bacon bits if using.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add jalapeños as a topping.
- Feel free to customize the toppings based on your preferences.
- Leftover steak can be used for this recipe.
