A delicious and healthy dish made with cabbage leaves stuffed with a savory mixture of lentils and rice.
Ingredients

- 1 large head of cabbage
- 1 cup cooked lentils
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and blanch the cabbage leaves for 2-3 minutes until softened.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
- Add cooked lentils, rice, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to the skillet and mix well.
- Place a spoonful of the lentil and rice mixture onto each cabbage leaf and roll tightly.
- Place the rolls seam-side down in a baking dish and cover with tomato sauce.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- Feel free to add other vegetables to the filling for extra flavor.
- These rolls can be made ahead of time and frozen for later use.
