Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cabbage
  • 1 cup cooked lentils
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and blanch the cabbage leaves for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
  4. Add cooked lentils, rice, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to the skillet and mix well.
  5. Place a spoonful of the lentil and rice mixture onto each cabbage leaf and roll tightly.
  6. Place the rolls seam-side down in a baking dish and cover with tomato sauce.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
