Description
Lebanese Arayes are delicious meat-stuffed pitas that are grilled to perfection, offering a flavorful and satisfying meal.
Ingredients

- 500g ground beef or lamb
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pita breads
- Olive oil for brushing
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the ground meat, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Cut each pita bread in half to create pockets.
- Stuff each pita half with the meat mixture, pressing down gently to ensure they are filled.
- Brush the outside of the stuffed pitas with olive oil.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat.
- Grill the stuffed pitas for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the meat is cooked through and the pita is crispy.
- Remove from the grill and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve with tahini sauce or yogurt for dipping.
- Feel free to add spices according to your taste preferences.
- These can be made ahead of time and reheated on the grill.
