A quick and flavorful dish combining ground chicken, vibrant broccoli, and a sweet-spicy honey Sriracha sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.

- 1 lb (450g) ground chicken
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch (mixed with 1 tablespoon water)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add ground chicken to the skillet and cook for 5–7 minutes until browned.
- Drain any excess liquid.
- Stir in minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté for 1 minute.
- Add broccoli florets and cook for an additional 3–4 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, Sriracha, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and cornstarch slurry.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and broccoli, stir well, and simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve over rice or cauliflower rice.
Notes
Customize the spice level by adjusting the amount of Sriracha. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
