  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp agar-agar powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. Mix together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and baking powder.
  3. Combine the eggs, vegetable oil, and whole milk until frothy.
  4. Bring together the wet and dry ingredients, mixing until just incorporated.
  5. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Cool the cakes in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  7. Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
  8. Heat the raspberries with agar-agar powder until bubbling, then mix with melted chocolate.
  9. Assemble the cake by layering the mousse between and on top of the cake layers.

Notes
