Description

A flavorful grilled chicken dish marinated in a sweet and savory blend, bringing the aloha spirit to your table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken thighs, bone-in, skin-on
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine pineapple juice, soy sauce, grated ginger, brown sugar, sesame oil, and minced garlic. Whisk until well blended.
  2. Add chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade, letting excess liquid drip off, and place on the grill.
  5. Grill chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and has nice grill marks.
  6. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate overnight. Can be cooked on a grill, in an air fryer, or oven.
