Tender chicken thighs cooked in a sweet and spicy gochujang sauce, air fried to perfection for a crispy and flavorful meal.

- 5–6 pieces chicken thighs
- 2 tbsp avocado oil
- 2 tbsp gochujang paste
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp minced ginger
Instructions
- Combine the gochujang paste, avocado oil, mirin, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and minced ginger in a mixing bowl.
- Add the chicken thighs, ensuring each piece is well-coated in the marinade.
- Cover the bowl and let the chicken marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the marinated chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through to achieve a golden-brown exterior.
- Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
For best flavor, marinate the chicken overnight. Can also be roasted in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 30–35 minutes.
