Description

Tender chicken thighs cooked in a sweet and spicy gochujang sauce, air fried to perfection for a crispy and flavorful meal.


Ingredients

  • 56 pieces chicken thighs
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil
  • 2 tbsp gochujang paste
  • 2 tbsp mirin
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp minced ginger

Instructions

  1. Combine the gochujang paste, avocado oil, mirin, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and minced ginger in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the chicken thighs, ensuring each piece is well-coated in the marinade.
  3. Cover the bowl and let the chicken marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Place the marinated chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Cook for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through to achieve a golden-brown exterior.
  7. Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  8. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
  9. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

For best flavor, marinate the chicken overnight. Can also be roasted in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 30–35 minutes.
