Description

Delicious Garlic Parmesan Stuffed Mushrooms filled with a creamy, cheesy mixture, perfect for appetizers or cozy dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb (about 450g) button or cremini mushrooms
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean mushrooms gently with a damp paper towel and remove the stems.
  3. Finely chop the stems and set the caps aside.
  4. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, then add minced garlic and chopped stems. Sauté for about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  6. Add softened cream cheese and mix until creamy.
  7. Brush mushroom caps with olive oil, place cavity side up on a baking sheet.
  8. Generously spoon filling into each mushroom cap.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until tops are golden and mushrooms are tender.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving, garnished with chives if desired.
