- 8 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 cup cooked sausage or bacon, crumbled (optional)
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- In a greased baking dish, layer the torn croissant pieces evenly.
- Sprinkle the cooked sausage or bacon and diced bell peppers over the croissants.
- Pour the egg mixture over the croissant and meat/vegetable layers.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is set and golden brown on top.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
