- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)

Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken slices, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 5-7 minutes until golden. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté the Garlic: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute or until fragrant.
- Create the Sauce: Lower the heat and stir in ricotta, heavy cream, and Parmesan. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Combine Chicken and Pasta: Return chicken to the skillet, stirring to coat with sauce. Add dried herbs and chili flakes, if using.
- Finish with Pasta: Add drained pasta, tossing gently until well combined.
- Serve and Garnish: Transfer to bowls, garnishing with parsley and extra Parmesan, if desired.
