- 1 (9-inch) pie crust
- 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 3 large eggs
- 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, sugar, salt, and spices.
- Add the eggs and mix until well combined.
- Gradually stir in the evaporated milk until smooth.
- Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for 40-50 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the pie cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve with whipped cream for added flavor.
- Can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
- For a spicier flavor, adjust the spices to your preference.
