Description
A rich, creamy dessert featuring a decadent chocolate and peanut butter filling on a buttery graham cracker crust.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a pie dish to form the crust and bake for 10 minutes until golden brown. Let cool completely.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine creamy peanut butter and powdered sugar, mixing until smooth.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold it into the peanut butter mixture.
- Spread the peanut butter layer over the cooled crust.
- In a saucepan, melt the chocolate chips and milk over low heat, stirring until smooth. Pour over the peanut butter layer.
- Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or overnight until firm. Slice and serve.
Notes
Let the pie sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before slicing for cleaner cuts. Optionally, serve with a dollop of whipped cream, raspberry sauce, or vanilla ice cream.
