Description

A rich, creamy dessert featuring a decadent chocolate and peanut butter filling on a buttery graham cracker crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom of a pie dish to form the crust and bake for 10 minutes until golden brown. Let cool completely.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine creamy peanut butter and powdered sugar, mixing until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold it into the peanut butter mixture.
  5. Spread the peanut butter layer over the cooled crust.
  6. In a saucepan, melt the chocolate chips and milk over low heat, stirring until smooth. Pour over the peanut butter layer.
  7. Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or overnight until firm. Slice and serve.

Notes

Let the pie sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before slicing for cleaner cuts. Optionally, serve with a dollop of whipped cream, raspberry sauce, or vanilla ice cream.
