- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, cocoa powder, sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Mix until well combined.
- Add the flour and salt, and stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the brownies cool completely in the pan.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler and pour over the cooled brownies.
- Spread the chocolate evenly and let it set before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For a healthier option, you can substitute the sugar with a sugar alternative.
- Make sure the bananas are very ripe for the best flavor.
