- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 200g mushrooms, finely chopped
- 100g spinach
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
- Add mushrooms and spinach, cooking until the moisture evaporates. Season with salt and pepper.
- Let the mixture cool, then place it on top of the chicken breasts.
- Roll out the puff pastry and wrap the chicken with the filling inside.
- Seal the edges and brush with beaten egg.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
