  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Divide the meat mixture in half and shape one half into a loaf on a baking sheet.
  5. Make a well in the center of the loaf and fill it with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Cover the cheese with the remaining meat mixture, sealing it well.
  7. Spread ketchup on top of the meatloaf.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  9. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
