Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Take a lasagna noodle, spread a portion of the cheese mixture on it, and roll it up tightly.
  6. Place the rolled noodles seam-side down in the baking dish.
  7. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the rolls and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add cooked ground meat or vegetables to the cheese mixture for added flavor.
  • These rolls can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
