- 1 pound rigatoni pasta
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the rigatoni pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cooked rigatoni to the cheese mixture and stir until well combined.
- Transfer half of the rigatoni mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the first layer.
- Add the remaining rigatoni mixture and top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Drizzle olive oil over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add cooked ground beef or sausage to the pasta mixture.
- Feel free to use your favorite marinara sauce or homemade sauce.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
