- 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese until well blended.
- Add the chopped nuts, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into a ball and wrap it in plastic wrap.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up.
- Before serving, roll the cheese ball in additional chopped nuts for a crunchy exterior.
- Serve with crackers or fresh vegetables.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add some chopped jalapeños to the mixture.
