- 1 cup cooked seafood (shrimp, crab, or lobster)
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
- 2 cups seafood stock
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package Cheddar Bay biscuit mix
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large pot, combine seafood stock, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- Whisk in flour until the mixture thickens.
- Add cooked seafood and mixed vegetables to the pot, stirring to combine.
- Transfer the seafood mixture to a baking dish.
- Prepare the Cheddar Bay biscuit mix according to package instructions and fold in shredded cheddar cheese.
- Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit mixture over the seafood filling.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to use any combination of seafood you prefer.
- For a spicier kick, add some cayenne pepper to the seafood mixture.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
