Ingredients

  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 4 slices of provolone cheese
  • 4 slices of sourdough bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the shredded brisket with BBQ sauce until well coated.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
  3. Place two slices of sourdough bread in the skillet and top each with half of the brisket mixture and two slices of provolone cheese.
  4. Top with the remaining slices of bread and grill until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add pickles or jalapeños to the sandwich.
  • Use any cheese of your choice if provolone is not available.
