BBQ Brisket Melts are delicious sandwiches filled with tender, smoky brisket and melted cheese, perfect for a hearty meal.
Ingredients

- 1 lb smoked brisket, shredded
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 4 slices of provolone cheese
- 4 slices of sourdough bread
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the shredded brisket with BBQ sauce until well coated.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Place two slices of sourdough bread in the skillet and top each with half of the brisket mixture and two slices of provolone cheese.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread and grill until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add pickles or jalapeños to the sandwich.
- Use any cheese of your choice if provolone is not available.
- Leftover brisket works great for this recipe.
