Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha (or to taste)
  • 8 small flour or corn tortillas
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Fresh cilantro leaves, for garnish
  • Shredded lettuce, for serving
  • Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the shrimp by rinsing under cold water and patting dry.
  2. Set up a breading station with flour mixture, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Coat each shrimp in the flour, dip in egg, and roll in panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and fry shrimp until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha to make the sauce.
  6. Warm the tortillas and assemble tacos with lettuce, crispy shrimp, bang bang sauce, avocado slices, and cilantro.
  7. Serve immediately with lime wedges.
