Description

Delicious baked croissant sandwiches filled with ham and provolone cheese, perfect for a quick meal or snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large croissants
  • 8 slices of ham
  • 8 slices of provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the croissants in half horizontally.
  3. Spread Dijon mustard on the inside of each croissant half.
  4. Layer 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of provolone cheese on the bottom half of each croissant.
  5. Place the top half of the croissant back on.
  6. Brush the tops of the croissants with melted butter.
  7. Place the sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the croissants are golden brown.
  8. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving, if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some sliced tomatoes or spinach inside the sandwich.
  • These sandwiches can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
  • Serve with a side salad or soup for a complete meal.
